Have you guys noticed how dark my videos are? Well it’s not suppose to be that way, the thumb I used for episode 10 is a screenshot with other graphics on top.

This is what it looks like before I update it, why the HELL is it so dark then? It’s taken me a while to work it out because I takes 8 to 10 hours to render the video and I’m usually pretty burned out by then.

well today I went back and rendered out just 8 seconds of video in different formats to compare it to.

Here’s the same codec in an 8 second clip, already a little better.

Here’s F4V, an HD version of flash, this was rendered directly out of after effects.

Here’s h.264 done with adobe media encoder. Its almost identical to the flash version.

And finally here’s the almost uncompressed animation codec, this 8 second clip is over a gig in this pass.

It looks like f4v or h.264 will will fine, so I’m going to do one of those two things next episode.

Do you think I should re do the old ones? I’m still not sure if I should.
