I woke up this afternoon and had a strong feeling like I should get some old projects done. I decided to start with the Dr Steel Casual Uniform.
I started out with a dickeys work uniform. I borrowed Gabi’s seam ripper and took off the Sleeves and all the dickies logos.
I promise I’m wearing pants.
Gabi hemmed the sleeves and sewed the sides shut for me. I took a picture, but it didn’t come out unfortunately. She was wearing pants too though.
The box I have is the “Dr Steel Propaganda Box” I made for my college design class.
I think the paint job is a little armature, but it gets the job done.
The cool part is you can stand on it like a soap box for spontaneous propaganda spreading
and its small and durable enough when you are politely asked to leave.
This is going to be a great uniform to troll around conventions in. I’ll make sure to keep lots of propaganda in the box to pass around. The only thing I think the uniform is missing is a hat.
A standard military one should do the trick
obviously this one is the wrong color so I’ll pick up a black one tomorrow. Since I’m going the engineer rout with the outfit, a giant plastic wrench might be pretty cool too.
