Today is the first day of August and that means I’m back to a daily blog!

Where have I been for the last 6 weeks? Well most of that time I was in New York State to run a high tech summer camp.

I’ll be going over some of the adventures over the next month, but today we’re just going to cover the arrival.

I landed in Laguardia and took a cab to Grand Central Station.

This was my first time in NYC, and I was surprised at how much movies lied to me.

Everything was over all clean. I mean even the old tires were stacked nicely.

Grand Central was really impressive too, you could feel that a lot of people come through here every day, but the place still manages to look good.

From Grand Central I took a train 2 hours north to Poughkeepsie and my new home of Vassar College.

Once I arrived I spent pretty much every waking hour working on the the camp, and soon I’ll tell you a little more of what that was like.

I realize this makes for a fairly dull post, but that’s pretty much all the pics I have about arriving.

I’ll make it up to you tomorrow though, cus I’ll skip ahead to some of the good stuff!
