A long time ago I let everyone know I had set up a twitter account.  The thing about this kind of account is that it’s only useful if your buddies join too. That never came to be so I never updated.

Dragoncon changed that when I was able to find out where the partys and clebs were all weekend and soon everyone was tweeting well after the con was over (Erik, James, Karen to name a few.)

The cool thing about twitter is that it’s open source and that means anyone can write an app for it.  You can see my newest tweets on the front page of my space, or set up a 100 other ways to see what everyone is up to.  Again, this isn’t as much about micro blogging as it is about knowing when cool things are happening around when right when they happen.

you should give it a try.
