Yesterday I mentioned that my new spartan sandals had arrived, well later that same day my cape did too.

inside the box was the cape, a letter, and a buckle that I had ordered for my kilt.

the letter was pretty cool, it was on high quality paper and came with a bronze buck for anything I would buy from them in the future.

the buckle was in it’s own envelope and packaging. It looks great from the front.

But no so good in the back.

that’s ok though, it’s durable enough and looks great on the kilt so I’m happy, I need a bigger belt for it though.

Here’s a closeup of the fabric

and here’s what it looks like on my slightly less then 6 foot frame.

Some people in the group want it to hang on the ground, but I’m glad it dosn’t. It will make life easier at the con.

even though it is tattered, it is still possible to wear it closed like they do at the beginning of the movie.

It took me a while to figure out how to wear it, and the straps defiantly need to be weathered, but overall I’m happy with it.

Now if only I can get the rest of the outfit including the body and tan… if you’ll excuse me I have some abripper to do.
