My car has been making a “knocking sound” lately. I asked a car buddy of mine (we both have mustangs of the same year), and he told me it was because of the cheap gas I use. He convinced me that if I use the good stuff it would be worth it.

20 cents more a gallon or 3 bucks a tank doesn’t seem too extravagant so I tried it today, and the car is running way better. I don’t know if I’m sold on it though cus MAN was that an expensive tank! I don’t think I’ve ever been that close to a 40 dolor fillup before, even when the hurricanes cut off Florida gas supply.

Still, if it keeps the car running smoother that means it uses less gas, and that might save me money in the long run. I could always start using cheap octane myself and switch back to check cola to make up the difference.
