This happened two weeks ago, but I’m ready to make a post about it.

It’s no secret that the house came with A LOT of stuff, including a scruffy old dog in the back yard. He was a strong dog, but also old and didn’t have long left. Knowing that the end was near for him we brought him inside to make his last days as good as they could be.

He finally passed away on April 29th and we buried him in the back yard as far away from where he was chained all these years as we could manage.

He was a smelly old dog that wanted to bite me most of the time, but he was passive and friendly when we brought him in. Now that he’s gone I miss him, it was good to have company during the days.

So rest well, Chase, you’ve earned it.
