Gabi and I have not been to the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival since 2010, so she decided that it was high time we went back.

As you can see the weather was not the best for an outdoor festival, but that didn’t stop the show for going on!

It was seriously nasty for springtime, gloomy, damp, and under 50 degrees.

On our way there we found the reason why, clearly Looten Plunder is up to no good!

There were a lot of vendors to choose from but Gabi had been craving a red velvet cupcake for weeks so that was the first stop.

I’m glad this stand was there because I picked up another one for later. I like to think of it as my “get out of trouble free” card.

Another stand was making knifes right in front of you, even smelting the metal!

I had never actually seen molten metal before, it was cool to see it glowing but not as bright as I expected.

The last cool thing I took a picture of was a dog jumping competition.

This was really cool, the object was to get your dog to jump as far as he could into a pool of water.

I didn’t know this was a thing, if I had I might have trained of my dogs to do it, it seemed fun!

It was too bad the show was rained out, because there was still fun to be had even with the weather.

I’ve marked the calender for next year. Assuming they survive the small numbers we’ll have to come back!
